If you love boats and being on the water and also care about what is happening to our planet, my hope is that Ecoboat will make it easier to enjoy boating in the most environmentally friendly way possible. As the world turns away from burning fossil fuels, there will be all sorts of challenges ahead for the boating community. Alternatives to diesel and petrol engines will have to be adopted, for example, with the infrastructure to support them. Improving the water quality of our rivers, waterways , lakes and coastal environments means greener strategies for the growing numbers of boats using them. Adapting to changes in our climate, particularly in the hotter summer months, is another challenge. I hope you will join me on this journey.
